Job Title of Opening: IT Audit Supervisor

Position is for an IT Audit Supervisor with Vasquez & Company LLP, an accounting firm based out of Glendale, California. IT Audit Supervisor is responsible for supervising and overseeing financial audits pertaining to efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of clients' technological accounting/financial systems, controls, procedures, and processes. Duties include: engaging with clients to obtain financial data and information pertaining to clients' financial reporting and accounting systems for the purpose of determining the scope of the financial audits; overseeing collection and analysis of data to detect deficient controls and risks of clients' existing systems and controls; supervising inspection of clients' IT accounting and financial reporting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures tor ecord transactions; evaluating financial and information systems and identifying improvements to controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity; review testing performed by subordinate staff pertaining to IT entity level financial controls and IT General Controls to ensure that internal controls over application systems used for financial reporting are designed, implemented, and operating effectively during the course of financial audits; performing client walkthroughs and guiding clients through the Application Management and the Organizational General Controls; reviewing the IT processes pertaining to change/project management, user access management, and other IT Operations processes to aid the Financial Statement Audit Team throughout the course of financial audits; reviewing and editing audit findings and reports prepared by subordinate staff; and presenting audit results to clients and making recommendations pertaining to changes in operations and financial activities and risks. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2 years of experience. Experience as an IT Auditor is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof. 

Salary: $75,088 per Year
